Congratulations John and Ray!

Congrats to our own John Siteman- who, alongside his teammate Raymond MacDonald of Dartmouth, has been named this year’s Lawn Bowls Nova Scotia Team of the Year! John and Ray captured the Silver Medal in the 2026 Canadian Men’s Pairs Championship in Edmonton and had quite the run defeating many of the top teams in the country on their road to the final. Congrats to you both on this special honour!

Congratulations Sue Ellen!

Congratulations to our DLBC Training and Development Director Sue Ellen Horne- who has been named as the 2025-26 Lawn Bowls Nova Scotia Coach of the Year! Sue Ellen has been a leader in developing new bowlers into the sport- especially through championing her New Bowler Night Jitney to help teach many of the core concepts about the game. Thanks Sue for all of your hard work and dedication to helping our bowlers have a great experience in the sport!

Congratulations!

Congrats to our friends from HRM Pride Bowls- who have been named as this year’s Lawn Bowls Nova Scotia Community Sport Organization of the Year! They had an awesome 2025 season- growing to 50+ members, hosting new tournaments in addition to their jitney schedule and having many of their members jumping into tournament play at events across the province and beyond. Congrats and thanks for everything you all do to grow the game!
