The AGSA is pleased to announce that the "Deep Roots" video created for our 50th anniversary, has recently been recognized as the best use of video by Golf Course Industry Magazine. An awards ceremony will be taking place during the GCSAA GIS Industry show. The AGSA would like to thank Golf Course Industry Magazine and all those who participated in the production of the video. Great recognition for a job well done!!

The AGSA Superintendent of The Year nominations for 2017 are now being accepted. The form can be found under the membership heading on the website. The deadline for applications is January 31st. If you know of a deserving candidate for this award, please fill out the nomination form and send it along to the AGSA office.

The AGSA would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Marie Thorne from Syngenta Canada, on her upcoming retirement. After 37 years of serving the turf industry in Canada, Marie will be retiring as of April 2018. The AGSA would like to extend our best wishes to our friend and trusted resource. Thank You Marie!!!
