The MSVU Equestrian Team girls had an incredible 2019/2020 season! Finishing the season as 3rd out of 7 teams overall, our small but mighty team had a great year and took home some incredible prizes! Huge congratulations girls! You worked hard and it paid off!

Vanessa Isenor: Finished the season with a clean sweep of the Intermediate Division. 1st in Intermediate over fences and 1st in Intermediate Undersaddle.

Lauren Barrington: Like Vanessa, also finished with an incredible sweep of the Intermediate Divison overall. 2nd in Intermediate Over Fences, and 2nd in Intermediate Undersaddle.

Carleigh Romkey: Held her own and was very competitive in the Entry Division. Always in the ribbons, Carleigh finished with 8th in Entry Over Fences and 3rd in Entry Undersaddle.

Cadence Delnegro: Tested her memory of the English show ring from her Western roots and pulled a 6th overall in the Walk/Trot/Canter Division.

Hilary Curnew: Jumped back into the world of horses after a few years off and finished strong, pulling a 2nd overall in the Walk/Trot Division.

Congratulations ladies! Your resilience, team work, positivity and drive, displayed at competitions, lessons and meetings throughout the year is something to be very proud of!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our team by coming to our competitions, supporting and participating in our fundraisers and helping with our show! Your support means the world to us and we would not have finished the season without you!

The shows were fun, but the memories and the friendships that were formed will last forever. πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ¦„

It’s that time of year again… WINE SURVIVOR TIME!
🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

What is "wine survivor"? A pool where the participants win all the wine collected.

Collection Phase: November 1-December 6

An Entry is a bottle of wine valued at $15 or more and a $10 fee OR pay the entry fee plus the amount you would have spent on wine and we can pick up your bottle(s) for you!

Β· Submitter name, phone number and e-mail address must be provided – we need to be able to contact you if you are eliminated or if you win!

Β· Receipt for wine is preferred and appreciated.

Β· There is no limit to the number of entries per person.

Β· All bottles submitted are tagged with a number. Each participant will be given their number(s). A list with corresponding names and numbers will be posted before the first draw. SO keep an eye on our page for updates!

Wine Survivor Pool: December 2019

Β· Starting in early December, daily draws eliminate 3%-5% of the entries from the pool.

Β· At the end of pool, the final 3 or 4 bottles will be declared the winners.

Immunity: What is survivor without immunity……

Β· If your bottle is drawn to be eliminated and you have immunity you’re bottle is saved.

Β· Your number goes back into the pool right away and one immunity removed.

Immunity two ways to get it:

Β· Pay $15 entry fee instead of $10 and / or

Β· Submit a bottle of wine valued at over $30 (Receipt Required)

Β· Opt to have either one or both the immunities.

Β· With two immunities your bottle needs to be drawn three times for you to get knocked out of the pool.

1st Place gets 50% of the bottles

2nd Place gets 30% of the bottles

3rd Place gets 20 % of the bottles

Imagine all your holiday wine is purchased! You have a bottle to bring to every Christmas party. You can use it for gifts. No last minute trips to NSLC waiting in line for New Year’s Eve. Or if you like something different use the receipts and return it to NSLC for something else. They allow you to do that with the unopened bottles and receipts!

If you LOVE wine and want to help the MSVU Equestrian Team, contact a team member to get entered – give them cash πŸ’΅ and your bottle of wine 🍾 or e-transfer your fees to [email protected] πŸ’»
