A Halifax based road hockey league Founded in 2011 by Nick and Matt Bedard. Now run by Scott Smith. The FRHL contains 4 teams. 6 players + 1 goalie per team.
Total of 28 players in the league. Each game contains three 20 minute periods with 5 minute breaks in between. If games are tied after regulation, a 5 minute overtime will take place. If the game is still tied a 3 vs. 3 shootout will take place. The winning team is rewarded 2 points. The losing team is rewarded 0 points. If a game ends in overtime or in a shootout the losing team gets 1 point. Games are held Sunday at 9pm and 10:15pm.
Just to clear up some confusion, The games will be on SUNDAYS. Early games start at 9:00, late games start at 10:15. Thanks everyone. Hope everyone is pumped for their openers!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been really quiet lately, but I plan on getting the league back up and running soon! If you are interested in having a team this season, send an email to [email protected] . I'm hoping to have at least 4 teams again this year, and if we can get teams together quickly, games could be started by the end of the month. Just so you all know, its looking like Scott Smith is going to take over and delegate most of the FRHL responsibilities. He played on Phi Kap last year as the goalie. Him and I have been friends for about 16 years now and most of you probably know him, he's a wicked cool dude and I'm sure he'll do a kick ass job.
I'm going to help out as much as I can, but I'm a bit too busy to run the league on my own. If you have any questions, feel free to ask Scott or I while we get all the transition stuff organized.

The FRHL League Leader trophy was handed out, a the regular season ended this week! Congrats David Landry!

FRHL - Home Despite being on a team with a 2-4 record, David Landry still managed to lead the league in goals and points. He was awarded the League MVP trophy. Team Stealth defeated Furtown in the late game while Phi Kap Raiders defeated P***k Chus in the early game. Click HERE for the scores.
