These tigers clean up nice 🐯😌
Last night we held our end of season banquet. With many laughs and smiles (and SO MUCH black & yellow), we said thank you to this amazing team of coaches and athletes for such a stellar season!
Both novice and varsity programs came together, and many awards were handed out. Our new Presidents & Exec team were also announced, and we could not be more excited to see what this team has in store for next season and the many more to come.

🚨WEEKEND RECAP 🚨
Our Tigers had a phenomenal weekend of racing at CUs, with some wicked results. Sophie Inkpen made Dal Rowing history, becoming the first Tiger to make a CUs A-Final!!
Our team shared plenty of laughs, long car rides, and 0.5x photos this past weekend and had a blast putting down some super fast times.
Thanks to for hosting and lending us equipment, for all the shells, and for doing what Air Canada could not 🥰
Up next: A small few of our athletes will be competing today (friday) and tomorrow at the Rowing Canada National Rowing Championships! Keep an eye on our story for updates and results.

The Dal Tigers CUs crew wants to say a huge thank you to for their support and generosity this weekend! 🐯⛽️ Four of our crews were given the opportunity to tear up the course in the most stunning shells, gaining us plenty of compliments at the starting blocks and on the docks. Fluid shells will forever have our ❤️s

🐯 Presenting the second half of our team racing at CURCs this weekend: the womens crews!
LW1x - Sophie Inkpen
Sophie never fails to amaze us, constantly tear up the race course and laying down some crazy times (watch your back men’s team). After winning the B-Final at CUs last year, speedy Soph is hungry for more. Whether it’s biking to practice at 5am, training with us or training with the NS provincial team, Sophie devoted herself to getting faster every time she gets in a boat. Her time has come to show off what she’s made of ⛽️
LW2x - Ava and Sophie
Paired up with Sophie in the light womens double is everyone’s favourite Tiger (can I say that?). All the way from London, ON, Ava shows up to every practice with a fire, and an astounding amount of energy. Never one to shy away from a challenge (or an optional row), she will be sure to put her heart and souls into this weekend’s races.
W2- - Deanna and Antonia
From strangers to the perfect pair, Deanna and Antonia are ready to show the world what they’re made of. Antonia trained hard this summer, putting in the time in a single (too much time if you ask her), and was ready to switch it up for a sweep oar this fall. An absolute power house, Antonia is itching to barrel it down the Henley course this weekend. Deanna spent her summer training in Calgary and came back to Dal with a sweet resume, ready to take on round 2 of the CUs pair. With their quick starts and crispy finishes, these two are a match made in heaven.
Keep an eye on our Stories to follow our Tigers as the train, compete and kill it (🤞) this weekend!

⛽️ It’s time for CURCs ⛽️
Introducing the first half of our athletes competing this weekend! These Tigers will be taking off bright and early tomorrow morning, destination: St. Catherine’s, ON. Stoked to rip down the famous Canadian Henley course, these athletes are looking forward to laying down some fast times and big watts.
M1x - Jay Chevalier
Jay has put in the WORK, competing at the Canada Summer Games and training hard to earn himself a spot on the CUs roster again this year. Last year, Jay competed in the M2-, finishing 3rd in the B-Final. Keep an eye on this Pit Viper sporting Tiger who’s ready to absolutely send it this weekend.
LM2x - Jordan & Alastair
This dynamic duo has spent hours in the double over the past couple months, and are stellar to watch race (if you can catch a glimpse of em 😉). Jordan spent the summer training alongside our head coach Andrew Todd, whose olympian speed has definitely rubbed off on Jordan. Alastair returned to the Dal Rowing scene this year, and has made waves as a leader and inspiration for the rest of the team. Excited to watch these boys step it up this weekend, assuming Jordan’s feet fit in the boat 👸👠
Stay tuned for our Women’s crews, which will be announced later today!

All smiles after the Really Chili Regatta 🐯⛽️
Our Tigers put pedal to the metal this past weekend, pulling hard, having fun, and bringing home some hardware
