- Maggie Smith
- Zoe Fullarton
- Cara MacDonald
- Cat Kennedy
- Tobi Oshikoya
- Zachary James
- Dan Lord
- Timothy Brennan
- Lukas Rudaitis
- Alex Rogers
They took to the track and field at the Bob Vigars Classic in London, ON on May 31 and at the Royal City Inferno Track and Field Festival in Guelph, ON on June 3, and have had some impressive results to date!

It might have been a little chilly and a little windy, but that didn’t stop Athletics East athletes from absolutely crushing it at SSNS provincials last weekend!
So many podium placements and PBs to celebrate - a huge congratulations to all! And a big thanks to the supporters (coaches, parents and friends) who make moments like these possible (plus spent hours shivering on the sidelines this year, still with smiles on their faces).
Check out the full school provincials results on the SSNS website:

To our graduating senior athletes: we couldn’t be more proud of all you’ve accomplished. Thanks for the impact you had on our club. We’ll be watching as you take those next steps in your athletic journey.
And there’s plenty more competition to come this season for all. No doubt even more PBs will be achieved in the sunshine.☀️

From new meet records (!!!) and breakthrough PBs to podium sweeps, Athletics East athletes showed up BIG at recent SSNS meets.
Our athletes claimed 78 qualifying placements at regional meets, including:
- 25 1st place finishes
- 18 2nd place finishes
- 18 3rd place finishes
- 17 4th place finishes
With 36 more AE athletes finishing in the top 5 to 10. And a pile of relay wins too.
Among these winners were TWO meet record breakers (Western Region):
- Alayah Budgell in the intermediate girls 200m
- Serena Sonnichsen in the senior girls 100m hurdles
We’re super proud of every performance!
And now it’s time for the final stage.
Best of luck to every Athletics East athlete competing at provincials in Halifax on May 29 and 30.
