Another incredible experience from the Olympia trip!
I had the opportunity to spend the morning with Phil Daru watching him completely annihilate Jonni with his MMA training. 😅

Not only was it satisfying, it inspired me to get into combat sports myself. Looking forward to that new journey! 💪🏼

Phil is an incredibly talented strength and conditioning coach, training numerous combat sport athletes. UFC fighters, World Champ Boxers, you name it.

5 profound lessons I’ve learned from my growth journey thus far:

- Solitude is a sanctuary.
- Cliche as it is, growth is far from linear.
- Healing stings before it soothes.
- Not all hands extended are there to lift you up.
- You find time for what you see as a priority.

Though I have heard these little lessons before I dove into this journey a few years ago, they became more apparent as I experienced them with the self awareness I never had before.

Im blessed to be where I am today, and thankful to have access to the knowledge and support I need to continue to grow. ♥️

Day 2: Getting back into the things I love!

It’s for sure been over a year since I shot a compound bow, and archery is something that brings me peace ♥️

This morning I was up at 4:45am, Travelled to house (who is a professional at this) so I could do what I love and enjoy the sunrise over the water.

After some minor adjustments, and a full blood transfusion from the mosquitos I showed the bore no mercy.
