Ryan Francis (NS Stars) Advil Highlight of the Month Finalist!!

CONGRATULATIONS RYAN FRANCIS!!

One of our very own, Ryan Francis, has caught the eye of the "TSN" Advil Highlight of the Month Contest and is being recognized as a finalist for this month.

While in Quebec City this past season with his PeeWee AAA Team, Ryan was involved in a fun, friendly game with the LA Jr Kings (Coached by Rob Blake and Nelson Emerson - former NHL'ers). At the end of the game they had a fun shootout where players were showing off their skills. Ryan was able to pull off the "Datsyuk" move in which the video was chosen to be one of the two finalists for this month and will be aired on TSN.

Between May 5th - May 25th we are hoping you will vote 1 time per day and help Ryan win the $1000.00 monthly prize. If he wins the monthly prize he will then qualify for the $25,000 grand prize!!

2001 NS Stars are back on the ice! Practices officially started last night.

The NS Stars were out in full support of HTB Jr High School during there Championship Victory over AJ Smeltzer last week , as HTB wore our signature Jerseys with pride!

2001 NS Stars are offically registered at the 2014 Montreal Meltdown!

2001 NS Stars Hockey Camp 26-30 Aug at the Sackville Sports Stadium is offically full. Camp detailed schedule will be posted by mid Aug for all Stars players who registered.

2001 NS Stars officially completed the spring season with 36 practice hours, and 22 tournament an exhibition games played, two golds, and one silver medal. Have a great summer boys, hope to see you all in the "get ready for tryouts" Stars only summer camp 26 -30 Aug!

2005 NS Stars win the Gold medal in Antigonish this weekend defeating the Jr X Men 5-2.

The 2005 NS Stars battled back this morning down 4-1 to defeat the PEI Riptide 8-6 securing a spot in the Championship game tomorrow morning.
