Happy spring my friends from Briarwood, I think of you all every day. Have a wonderful golf season, and maybe play a hole where ever you are playing, and imagine you are playing that beautiful tree shot we had on the ninth hole in the name of Briarwood. Keep her alive.

My heart is broken for this family’s tragedy in our community. God bless these children and parents. Rest In Peace and sleep with the angels little ones.

Missing you all terribly. I am hoping you all have a wonderful summer and enjoying golf some where. I think of you all and Briarwood every single day and probably will the rest of my life. Briarwood was a beautiful gift to her community and never stopped giving back to the community. Cheers

Third summer away from Briarwood, I walked the course through googe earth. My heart is broken and torn. I am so sorry I couldnt beat the odds, I couldn't beat the political need and desire for Briarwood to be leveled and a wack of homes buit over her. To them it is a large amount of property tax but to me it was home where I was so happy to meet the Briarwood family who faithfuly enjoyed her beauty. So very sad to see the treasure fade to black....

I sure wish I was gearing up to once again reopen Briarwood but because HRM councillors and MLAs are just frothing at their mouths for more property taxes. They feel that robbing all the towns inside NS will bring more people to Halifax is a good thing. Funny these very same people came to my family day event a Briarwood a few years ago to announce their bid in the elections but now with their seats assured, they have turned their backs on Briarwood and those who enjoyed Briarwood. I truly hate Politicians, they are as fake as they come. Good luck NS
