SPACES STILL LEFT IN THE SHELLY TEMPLE EDUCATIONAL CLINIC

The GLCC Educational Clinic being held Thursday, July 23 1:00 to 4:30 pm at the Ancaster Fairgrounds still has places available. Whether a GLCC competitor or not this clinic will be useful to understand the dressage tests, requirements and how you can improve your score. The fee is only $25 and may be purchased on the GLCC website www.thegreatlakescarriageclassic.ca

in the Competitor Section/ Online Non Competitor Registration site. This is a special opportunity to learn from Shelly Temple, an experienced competitor and wonderful teacher.

The Great Lakes Carriage Classic - A Pleasure Carriage Driving Show – Pleasure Driving Show with Cones and Dressage

Time is passing! Friday is the entry due date for the 2026 Great Lakes Carriage Classic. Get your entries in to have a chance to win your division ($160 savings) and avoid a $60 late fee. Prize List and Online Entries for Competitors and Non Competitors found in the Competitor Section of the website www.thegreatlakescarriageclassic.ca Admission to the Educational Clinic with Shelly Temple ($25) may be purchased in either of the two online entry sites.

Call 905-246-9111. In her certified kitchen in Beamsville, Carol makes jams, jellies, relishes, pickles, chili sauces, BBQ sauces

and meat rubs that she sells at farmers markets, craft shows and country fairs. Carol’s prize donation for the show is a basket filled with a sampling of her wonderful home made goodies. We are certain the recipient will enjoy the food experience.

A silent auction will be held at this year’s show, and we invite all attendees to consider making a donation of new or lightly used items or services. All proceeds will go directly to GLCC.
If you’re interested in donating, please contact us. The Show Office will be responsible for collecting all items prior to display.

The Great Lakes Carriage Classic - A Pleasure Carriage Driving Show – Pleasure Driving Show with Cones and Dressage

On Sunday July 26th at 12:00PM the GLCC will feature a Parade of Equines.

Horses will be brought into the arena in hand as the announcer gives a description of the equine and the features of their particular breed. This fun, educational activity is enjoyed by both competitors and spectators and gives us an opportunity to showcase our equine partners.
