Are you on the correct sized bike?

I'm asking this question because today I had a customer come in for a Bike Fit with his Cervelo asking if we could get him more comfortable on the bike. Seems he's dealing with huge discomfort after 20 to 30k.

The issue was rather evident and then 100% confirmed with a tape measure. The rider was 5'8" tall... his bike has a 58cm top tube.

Yeah... waaay toooo big. We talked about this and got him to test ride a couple more appropriate sized road bikes, and no surprise, the SM (52cm top tube) fit him perfectly. He could also ride a 54 with some tweeks.

Tandem ride on Ithaka with Monica to watch the finish at the P2A. Alway good to chat with and introduce to his project. Amazing program and mission.
