Balance: New (0ld) wheels for the Marinoni. Thanks to Thomas Hughes for the 3T Acceero 40 Pros. They cleaned up nicely. A very sweet match for the 3T stem and bar and this vintage “FrankenBike.” Now just need it to stop raining so we can get out for a spin.

Balance: Neighbourhood spin. Sometimes it’s nice to do a mellow ride in the neighbourhood. Discovered Ruby’s on Ottawa Street. A very sweet, very little sandwich shop. Enjoyed a tasty cheese and scallion croissant.

Balance: Arrived a bit soggy, but the rain has now stopped. Time now for lunch before the ride home.

Are you on the correct sized bike?

I'm asking this question because today I had a customer come in for a Bike Fit with his Cervelo asking if we could get him more comfortable on the bike. Seems he's dealing with huge discomfort after 20 to 30k.

The issue was rather evident and then 100% confirmed with a tape measure. The rider was 5'8" tall... his bike has a 58cm top tube.

Yeah... waaay toooo big. We talked about this and got him to test ride a couple more appropriate sized road bikes, and no surprise, the SM (52cm top tube) fit him perfectly. He could also ride a 54 with some tweeks.
