Memorial Night is in the books at Flamboro Speedway, and with just a couple of races remaining in the 2026 regular season, the championship battles are coming right down to the wire! 🔥

Congratulations to our September 12th feature winners:

🏆 Matt Young – Swept both Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stock features and claimed the Memorial Night overall victory!
🏆 TJ Marshall & Jason Keen – Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds, with Keen taking the Memorial Night overall win.
🏆 Mike Thomson & Shawn Taylor – Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks, with Blaise Shaw earning the Memorial Night overall victory.
🏆 Tim Norris – Swept both Ontario Pro Challenge presented by NorHeat Treatment Inc. features and captured the Memorial Night overall win!
🏆 Jake Sheridan – Flamboro Grisdale Showdown Series Round #7.

⚠️ Pro Late Model Note: The Flamboro Grisdale Showdown Series feature was deemed official at Lap 37 due to fluid being on the racetrack, with Jake Sheridan declared the winner.

🔥 And just look at these championship battles!

The Flamboro Grisdale Showdown Series is TIED with Shae Gemmell and Jake Sheridan both sitting at 694 points, while Shawn Chenoweth is only 8 points back!

In the Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stocks, Matt Young leads Mike Thomson by just 12 points, while the Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks are even tighter, with Chase Mitchell leading Spencer Riddell by only 5 points!

👀 With only a couple of races remaining, there is absolutely no room for error. Every lap, every position and every point could make the difference between winning a championship and coming up just short!

It’s going to be a special night as the Steel City Super Stocks settle their season-long championship with a 53-lap feature in honour of Doug MacLean! Driver introductions and feature setup will also take place at intermission.

🏁 $15 ADMISSION NIGHT — CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT THIS SATURDAY! 🏁

It all comes down to THIS! This Saturday night, September 19th, the Steel City Rumble Series Super Stocks return to Flamboro Speedway for their FINAL RACE OF THE 2026 SEASON, and a champion will be crowned! 🏆

And the best part? GRANDSTAND ADMISSION IS ONLY $15! 🎟️

This year’s championship feature will also carry some extra meaning. The Steel City Super Stock feature will be 53 LAPS in honour of our late Flagman, Doug MacLean. ❤️🏁 We know Doug will be looking down as the field takes the green for 53 laps around the track he called home.

We’re also going big for Championship Night! Before the feature, we’ll introduce the drivers in style with special walk-out driver introductions and a light show! Drivers will also be tossing FREE T-SHIRTS into the crowd! 👕🔥

Then, after the racing is complete, stick around as we light up the sky with a FIREWORKS SHOW to cap off the night! 🎆

Todd Sheppard and Kevin Trevellin Victorious in Ontario Sportsman Series Action

MILLGROVE, Ontario --- The season may be winding down, but the action has not slowed any as there was lots going on this past Saturday, September 5 at Flamboro Speedway.

Todd Sheppard led flag-to-flag to win the first Ontario Sportsman Series feature ahead of Kevin Trevellin, Shawn McGlynn, Kevin Gallant, and Jordan Wilms. Donavin Clark battled mid-pack en route to sixth in front of Chad McGlynn, Billy Zardo, Austin Seburn, and Sean Mangin. Ty Riopelle was 11th, followed by Kaden Patrick, Kyle Istead, Jason Vale, Colton Clark, Jamie Morency, Cooper Aubertin, and Brad Robinson.

Kevin Trevellin led all 50 laps to win the second OSS feature ahead of Todd Sheppard, Ty Riopelle, Jordan Wilms, and Chad McGlynn. Donavin Clark was sixth once again, this time in front of Austin Seburn, Billy Zardo, Sean Mangin, and Brad Robinson. Kaden Patrick was 11th, followed by Jason Vale, Cooper Aubertin, Kyle Istead, Colton Clark, Jamie Morency, Shawn McGlynn, and Kevin Gallant.

Matt Young took the lead on Lap 8 en route to winning the opening Klotz Auto Repair Mini Stock feature ahead of Bobby Mercer, Blaise Shaw, Mike Thomson, Michael Robinson III, Shawn Taylor, Louis Mehlenbacher, and Andrew Smith.

Matt Young went for the daily double ahead of Shawn Taylor, Bobby Mercer, Blaise Shaw, Mike Thomson, Michael Robinson III, Louis Mehlenbacher, and Andrew Smith.

Matt Young was declared the overall winner of the FlowerPot 51’s for the Mini Stocks.

Chance Rogers led flag-to-flag en route to winning the first Hogan Law & McClurkin Properties of Cambridge Pure Stocks feature ahead of Spencer Riddell, Matt Young, Chase Mitchell, and Rodney Rutherford. Gary Slama made his way forward for sixth in front of Rachel Mitchell, John Cote, Rick Mitchell, and Brandyn Milligan.

Phil Givens was able to climb up to 11th after starting deep in the field, followed by Hailey Hill, Leo Labarbera, Megan Mitchell, Dan Storey, Mark Allan, Randy Rodgers, William Young, Mac Ingram, Craig Cole and Dan Ramey.

Chase Mitchell took the lead at the halfway mark en route to winning the second Pure Stock feature ahead of Brandyn Milligan, Spencer Riddell, Matt Young, and Rodney Rutherford. Chance Rogers was sixth this time around in front of Gary Slama, Megan Mitchell, Leo Labarbera, and John Cote. Mac Ingram was 11th, followed by Rick Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Dan Storey, Mark Allan, Randy Rodgers, William Young, Phil Givens, Hailey Hill, Craig Cole, Phil Givens and Dan Ramey.

As a result, Chase Mitchell was deemed the overall winner of the FlowerPot 51’s for the Pure Stocks.

The next scheduled event at Flamboro Speedway takes place on Saturday, September 12, with Memorial Night. It also marks the seventh round of the Grisdale Showdown Series for the Pro Late Models, alongside the Grindstone Landscaping Canadian Vintage Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks & Ontario Pro Challenge. There will be a fan appreciation corn roast held after the event.
