Meet Anne and her adorable helper, Rhea! Anne came into the shop to pick up this gorgeous Gazelle Arroyo C5 Dutch e-bike with a very specific goal in mind: leaving her car in the garage and taking on her daily 10km work commute on two wheels!
Navigating the escarpment on a standard bike can be tough, but the Arroyo C5’s smooth Bosch mid-drive motor makes hill climbs feel completely flat. And to top it off, Anne’s family has been riding Gazelle bikes for 35 years—talk about true Dutch heritage!

Meet Tony! As a retired police officer and lifelong cyclist, Tony loves getting out for long rides. But to keep up with his friends on weekend trips without worrying about fatigue, he decided it was time to add a little extra power to his routine!
After trying out a friend’s e-bike, Tony came down to our shop and picked up this incredible Aventon Pace 4 step-through! With its comfortable upright handlebars, smooth pedal assist, and easy-access frame, Tony can pedal as much as he wants and flip on the assist whenever he needs a boost on hills.

Meet Lynn and Tony! They have always been an active couple—skiing in the winter and cycling all summer long. But after renting bikes on trips to Europe and getting passed on steep hills by their friends riding electric, they knew it was finally time to go electric themselves!
They came into the shop and picked up matching Level 4 REC e-bikes! With smooth pedal assistance, comfortable frame geometry, and a heavy-duty mounted to their vehicle, they are completely ready for their upcoming tour along Quebec’s iconic Blueberry Trail.

A great customer recently picked up a brand-new Hiboy P6 fat tire e-bike from our showroom. Everything felt perfect on the initial test drive, but the real test happens when a bike faces regular roads, bumps, and frame vibrations. Shortly after hitting the pavement, an unexpected glitch popped up in the electrical system.
Because we are right in the middle of our peak summer cycling season, getting specialized components from manufacturers can be a massive headache.

Who needs a second car when you have an e-cargo bike? 🚲✨
Ben and his family have been successfully sharing a single car for eight years. When they started looking for a secondary transit option to make daily errands a little easier, they wanted something practical, reliable, and fun. Ben dropped by the shop and found the absolute perfect match: the Aventon Abound SR!
This bike is an absolute workhorse. It features a loaded front rack for bags and gear, and we customized the back with a full kid-commuter setup—including a comfortable seat cushion, rear footpegs, and a safety handlebar rail for his 4.5-year-old daughter.

Drove all the way from Guelph for round two! 🚲❤️
We love it when our amazing riders come back to see us! Ruth originally bought her first e-bike from our shop, but as her love for riding grew, so did her adventures. She started planning much longer trips and realized she needed a model with a bigger battery capacity to handle the extra distance.

Rethinking the e-bike misconception! 🚲✨
There’s a common myth that electric bikes are only for older folks or that they are “cheating.” But a real-world shift happens when an unexpected barrier gets in the way of your favorite routine.
Meet Andrea! Andrea is an active rider who loved hitting the roads on her traditional hybrid bike. Unfortunately, a knee injury over the winter put her usual rides on pause. Wanting a safe, reliable way to get back to what she loves, she did her research and discovered the compact Tern NBD S5i e-cargo bike!
The Class 1 pedal-assist gives Andrea the exact same feel as her regular bike, but with the smooth, extra boost she needs to protect her knee on longer routes or steep local terrain. Plus, the NBD is a space-saving champ—the handlebars fold down, and the entire bike can be stood up vertically on its rear rack to slide into small storage spaces with ease! 🔋🌱
