Why do some people get pole tricks faster than others?
Honestly, there’s a million reasons.
Different sports backgrounds. Different strength levels. Different mobility. Different body awareness. Different fears. Different proportions. Different brains.
Some people come into pole already knowing how to move through space. Some people are naturally stronger. Some people are more flexible. Some people need more reps before things click.
None of that means you’re bad at pole.
I think people forget sometimes that pole is hard. Like… actually hard. You’re asking your body to do things that are completely unnatural at first.
It takes practice. Repetition. Patience. Conditioning. And honestly, probably a little stubbornness too.
So if you’re feeling frustrated because someone else got something faster than you did, please don’t let that convince you that you can’t do it too.
