It’s that time again! Our first Prem match against Ipswich in a long, long time. Shooting for a much needed three points at home, join us in support at the pub (and no, I’m not yet sick of these AI hammer/food image combos). See you there!

Our new Frenchman looked great last week at Brentford. Looking for a repeat performance with a little more on the offensive end this Saturday when Ipswich rolls into London Stadium. See you at the pub, 10AM!

You know the drill, week six! Today’s a must win match to ease some early season tension. Come out and support in this gloomy Saturday morning in your finest caret and blue. See you at the pub!

Been a tough couple matches over the last week and a half, pushing for a better result Saturday morning at Brentford. Come out and show your support. See you at the pub!

Well, I told AI to give me a “photorealistic image of a man in a West Ham United shirt holding a hammer in one hand and a breakfast sandwich in the other”… and it spit out whatever the hell this is. The detway (aka. debtway) sponsor is pretty funny though. Anyway, early start this morning so no pub action. See you next week!

It’s an early one this week so we won’t be at the pub. Stay home and refuse to put pants on while we take it to the blues, and remember there’s a cup match midweek against Liverpool. See you lot next Saturday!

Week 4, headed to Craven Cottage for what should lead to a positive result and hopefully all three points to push us back up the table. The squad has had some standout performances from a few players thus far but it’s familiarity and cohesiveness that will get us there which will only grow as the year wears on. A couple minor injuries and players returning late from international duty are likely to affect the lineup, but nothing is said to be too worrying overall. That’s it, see you in two and a half hours!

Hard to believe this was almost six years ago. Some things have changed, some remain the same. West Ham ‘til we die. (Going to finally get on the preorder for new scarves soon so stay tuned for that.)

A little delayed in getting this out but we’re back at it after the international break, this time away at Craven Cottage. Definitely looking for all three points from this one — see you at the pub tomorrow morning!

As we’ve got an international break this weekend, let’s take a crack at this age old question – who stands atop your holy trinity in the West Ham cannon? Not necessarily the “all time best”, but the players that hooked you and cemented your support. Admittedly, I () had a bit of difficulty here. The first two are pretty easy but gun to my head, I’d flip flop as to which took the top spot each time you ask me. And third on the list is where it really gets sticky. But today, it goes as follows…

1) Julian Dicks – The Terminator… enough said. To this day, no one is as terrifying when it comes to tackles or penalties. I don’t think any keeper looked forward to lining up against Dicksy and god help you if you were trying to move past him to get to Ludo (which was another beast in and of itself). I hope you didn’t want your ankles because they were about to get wrecked.

2) Paolo Di Canio – I don’t think I need to justify this one. No one, and I mean no one has ever created an infectious energy like that Italian legend. And good lord, that finesse and finish. He was wild, unpredictable, passionate, and a bit mental… which lined up pretty well with the attitudes of East London’s finest citizens. It breaks my heart to think we’ll never see another like him.

3) John Moncur – This is where it got tough. There were a number of players I could easily slot in here but John was iron clad. No one embodied “don’t f**k around” the way that he did. He was as vicious as they come and his antics off the pitch only made me love him more. Were there “better” players at midfield over the years, sure… but there were few I enjoyed watching as much.

Honourable mentions go to Ian Bishop, Martin Allen, Tony Cottee, Steve Potts, and Rio Ferdinand. I could keep going but I need to stop somewhere. What are your personal top three and for extra credit, why?
