East End Yoga students have taken part in many community functions.
We’ve helped and we continue to help with assembling Birthing kits, we’ve helped out at McHappy Days back in 2019 at the Queenston location, we’ve made winter hats donated to street kids and we’ve raised funds for many local charities.
By far - this is the most support we have done as a group- I think everyone did something to make and fill bags.
It started as we were coming out of the pandemic- Denise Ellis and Nancy Luck both started making lovely cloth bags-
Denise approached exploring ideas that we might do with these bags- this was last Spring. Women helping women was born!
Now November we have 37 packed filled bags with such amazing supplies in each bag.
Soap, shampoo, hair brush, tooth brush and paste, Deodorant, body cream , womens products, dental floss, nail file, marks, socks, some have hats, mitts, chocolates-
These bags are made and filled by amazing women and their being donated to local womens shelters- hoping we can bring a little ray of sunshine to someone’s life.

Tonight- the last night to our outdoor yoga.
Cool , blue skies- a light sprinkle of rain right at the end.
Candle light yoga on September 27, 2022-
It was beautiful being outdoors with this group of ladies, truly Canadian yoga.
And WE will try outdoor yoga this winter.
