Our Little Apples Nature March Break Camp was completely sold out last week and what an incredible group of adventurers we had!🌿

Each day our campers headed out on hikes, exploring nature, discovering new trails, and building confidence along the way. Back at home base, we slowed things down with crafts, hands on activities, and moments to reflect on everything we experienced outdoors.

After our hike around Princess Point, we dove into the history of the area. Campers learned about recent archaeological discoveries that show different Indigenous groups lived there, and how a Princess Point culture developed over 8,000 years ago as a fishing, hunting, and farming community. We also explored different tree and bug species of the area🐞🐛🐜

A huge thank you to our amazing leaders Carla and Andrew who brought so much energy, curiosity, and care to the week. So many happy memories were made 🥰🌱

We’ve been so busy around here that we didn’t even get a chance to post when we sold out last week!

This week has already been amazing, hiking through Cootes Paradise, spotting herrings, listening to the echoes of woodpeckers, and spending time with both new and familiar friends. We’ve been exploring different ecosystems, learning about tree species, and soaking up all the beauty and peace nature gifts to us.

We’re already looking ahead to our summer season, and we can’t wait! If you’d like to join us, we highly recommend registering early as we keep our groups small.
