See a success story from one of our previous SISTER participant who has been part of Cake & Loaf Bakery team since her placement. Awesome job!!! We are so proud of you, Zoie. ❤️❤️❤️
Rollin’ through the week and into ! Up next in our FOH team- the one, the only..... ZOIE 👋
This little ray of sunshine (and rainbows) is a barista/playlist MASTER. has been apart of our crew for almost two years now! She started a placement here through the SISTER Program at the YWCA. Zoie initially was attracted to the C+L website - it was full of love and everyone looked like they were having a great time working. She decided we would be a good fit for her and a good environment to learn in. She obviously we loved her from the start!
Even though she works in our front of house - she has had a love for creating/making since a young age (like most of us). Every other weekend she would spend time baking with her family, always decorating cakes and baking cookies. Throughout this time she learned how to make the PERFECT mini pancakes!
FUN FACT: Zoie paints and collages a lot in her spare time! This Dancing Queen is a huge music enthusiast- always jammin’ out to ABBA and David Bowie (she rocks an amazing playlist out front always). Her fav genres are jazz, disco and rock 🙌
FAV PRODUCT: Chocolate chunk cookie- so irresistibly chewy + soft.
Thank you for always being a bright light in FOH (and not just because your hair is always a fun new colour). Your playlists get us through busy times with a groovin attitude! We absolutely love hearing your laugh echo into the kitchen- it makes our day ❤️! Seeing you interact so genuinely with every customer that walks in makes our hearts soar!.
You are truly such a wonderful asset to our C+L family.
