ππ A new era at Mohawk Sports Park! ππ
After many years of the old mixed-sport uprights standing watch over Field #1, we're excited to officially welcome our new rugby-specific goal posts to The Nest! π
This upgrade marks another important milestone for the Hamilton Hornets and the growth of rugby in our city, with Field #1 at Mohawk Sports Park now effectively becoming an exclusively rugby-dedicated field for our club and community.
A huge thank you goes to Ward 6 Councillor and long-time Hornets supporter, Tom Jackson, for helping make this project a reality. A familiar face around the club and certainly no stranger to a scrum, Councillor Jackson doesn't move the goalposts... he upgrades them. πͺπ
Pictured standing between the newly upgraded posts at Mohawk Sports Park with members of the Hamilton Hornets, this moment represents more than just new equipment. It's an investment in the future of rugby in Hamilton and in the generations of players who will run out beneath these posts for years to come.
Here's to many tries, conversions, and unforgettable memories at The Nest. ππ€

ππ Another action-packed Saturday at The Nest!
The Senior Women continued their impressive 2026 campaign, battling right until the final whistle to earn a thrilling 41β38 victory. An incredible team effort and an absolute cracker of a match! π₯πͺ
The Senior Men also put together a determined performance, leaving everything out on the pitch in a hard-fought contest. While the result didn't fall our way this time, the effort never stopped. Final score: 45β26.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support, volunteered behind the scenes, and helped make it another fantastic day of rugby at Mohawk Sports Park. Win or lose, there's nothing quite like Saturdays at The Nest. ππ€
