What an extraordinary weekend this has been.

The first Special Olympics Provincial Pickleball Championships are now complete, and was it ever an event for the ages. More pictures from Day 2.

A huge shout-out to the teams who made the journey, we are proud to have hosted teams from Huronia, Meaford, Kingston, Dufferin, Brantford and Hamilton.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers, our staff at the Gretzky Pickleball Club, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to support our athletes and make this weekend so memorable.

And a very special thank you goes to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation. Their generosity, belief in inclusion through sport, and ongoing support of Special Olympics made these championships possible.

We cannot wait to see how many teams join us next year and in the years to come.

They came in with a Letter of Appreciation for our Community Heroes Program, the free court time we offer firefighters, police, and paramedics. Called the program far more than a recreational opportunity. A real way to support the health and resilience of people who face physically demanding, emotionally heavy shifts every day.

We started this program because these are the people who show up when it matters most. Getting recognized like this means a lot.

Hello! My name is Ana' and I am a Customer Service Representative here at Gretzky Pickleball Club. My duties include making sure everyone is checked in and having a good time here at the club!

🏓 Skill Level: Beginner(ISH?) Love playing for fun!

This weekend, July 24th and July 25th, is the Special Olympics Pickleball Provincial Games. Catch the opening ceremony Friday @ 6pm with some special guests, and then the games kick off Saturday morning at 10am.
