Pin-Hi Golf Club

For those who have contacted us regarding the sale of the course equipment... Apparently the Thomas family were not appreciative of the Metro newspaper contacting me to answer a few questions regarding Audrey Thomas informing us she was putting the land up for sale and we were to get our equipment out as soon as possible. As of now they are not permitting me to access the land to remove the remainder of our possessions and as a result we are not able to complete any sale on those items. John Thomas then proceeded to let us know that he considers the equipment and storage building his now since the rent was not paid for the month of November. The same rent we offered to pay and were told by Audrey Thomas it wouldn't be accepted. The remainder of any amount owing was to be paid by the new owner, which the Thomas family denied the lease to when he tried to sign and finish the deal to keep the course open in the future. Frustratingly, I'm not sure what else we were supposed to do. I'm sorry to all of those I've had discussions with the past couple of days. I'm not sure what the next course of action is for us. I felt the need to put this on here so the public realizes what we are currently having to deal with. After 40 years it is terrible that it has come down to be treated this way however hopefully we will be able to move on as soon as possible. - Glenn

We have sad and frustrating news for all the golfers who have enjoyed Pin-Hi over the past 40+ years. Audrey and John Thomas have decided to sell the land for development that the course is located on. While I had decided to move on after this season, this comes after we had found multiple people who wanted to purchase the business and keep running the golf course for the public to enjoy. The interested parties even agreed to the Thomas families' lease terms (and very large increase in lease payments) however Audrey and John have decided to abruptly pull the carpet out from under us, our members and patrons. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who have chose to play our little family course over the years. It is very unfortunate that the course had to end like this after all the hard work put into the course over the years by my late father Ed, my mother Bea and myself. I hope everyone will still enjoy this great game of golf at other great courses in the area. Thank you for all the support over the years and I wish everyone the best in the future. - Glenn Robinson

Weather permitting, the course will be open from 9am until the last tee time at 5pm until Sunday which will be the last day of the season. Hopefully the weather forecast will change for later on in the week!

It's a beautiful fall morning for golf! Come on out and enjoy this great weather!

We will be starting our fall hours beginning tomorrow morning. The course will be opening at 8:30 am and the last tee time will be at 5:30 pm. It's fall hours but summer weather this weekend!

What a week of weather coming up! Sunny and low 20's until Sunday. Golf season is far from over!

The course will be closed for the remainder of today. Not too much wind damage but very, very wet out there. Good drying conditions today however and we will be open tomorrow morning for what looks like a great week of sun!

Just a reminder to everyone that we will be closed tomorrow until 1pm with our members fall scramble. It looks like a nice warm afternoon!
