High River is absolutely buzzing with line dance! 🤠👢🎶

I can’t believe the excitement and momentum our line dance community is experiencing—and I’m so grateful!

We now have only 10 spots left in our Beginner Line Dance class at Stix N’ Bones. If you’ve been thinking about learning to line dance, this is your sign! No experience is needed—just come ready to learn, laugh and have fun.

Meet Daisy, a Foothills County Line Dancer…

“I’ve been dancing for over 8 years. A friend introduced me to it when I retired.

I love it because it combines music, movement, fun and friendship. It keeps me active, challenges me to learn new dances and always leaves me smiling.” - Daisy

I was reminded by one of the line dancers tonight that Sept 24th feels like too long to wait to dance! If you feel the same, you don’t even know how happy that makes me!

I have good news, we have another opportunity a little earlier in the month♥️

Both of my beginner line dance classes will start Thursday September 24th. I will be sending a welcome email out mid-Sept. The Masonic Lodge class is full but there is still a little room in my Stix N’ Bones class.

“I moved to High River three years ago and was looking for ways to connect with people.

My friend invited me to line dancing class in the spring of this year, and I was so happy to see such a positive, energetic group!

I have participated in other types of dance previously, from contemporary to liturgical, but line dance is new to me.

Patty is such a great instructor; she takes the time to explain the steps and also provides tips on how to guard yourself from potential injury.”
