With kids heading back to school tomorrow, school zones are back in effect. Please remember to slow down, stay alert, and watch carefully for children walking, biking, and crossing the streets.

🚌 Remember: It is illegal to pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing. These lights mean children are getting on or off the bus, so please stop and give them the space they need to get safely across the road.

The excitement of the first day back can mean children may not always be paying attention to traffic—so it’s up to all of us to do our part to keep them safe.

Slow down. Stay alert. Stop for school buses. Help get every child to and from school safely.
