Hugo, Josh and Devon’s 50 Day crew has reached their first food drop, a milestone that always seems to arrive in the blink of an eye.

The smiles are big, spirits are high, and they’re already looking stronger with every paddle stroke and portage. Here’s to many more kilometers, unforgettable memories, and the adventures still waiting around the next bend.

It’s found in the morning mist on Canoe Lake, the laughter echoing through the pines, the confidence built one paddle stroke at a time, and the lifelong friendships that begin around a cabin table.

Some call it camp. We call it the Wonder of Wapomeo. ✨

Before the canoe trips begin, every great adventure starts with learning the essentials.

Today, campers rolled up their sleeves to plan routes, prepare meals over an open fire, and build the confidence and skills that will carry them through the backcountry. Excitement was just as high as they eagerly anticipated discovering what’s new in the Tuck Shop, before gathering together to sing grace and share another meal as a community.

These are the moments that quietly shape a summer, learning practical skills, embracing new traditions, and finding joy in the simple rhythms of camp life. One day at a time, Canoe Lake is already beginning to feel like home. 🌲🛶🔥

Last night, our Sunbeams and Mountaineers joined forces for an evening of crackling fires, toasted marshmallows, shared laughter, and new friendships. It’s in these simple moments, under the pines and around the fire, that camp memories are made and lifelong connections begin. 🔥🍫🌲
