🎣 A TSC tradition that never gets old.
There’s something special about the weekly Fishing Derby. Early mornings on the lake, quiet anticipation, a little friendly competition, and plenty of stories that seem to grow with every retelling.
Whether they reeled in the biggest catch or simply enjoyed time on the water with friends and staff, every camper walked away with memories that will last far longer than the day itself.
At Taylor Statten Camps, it’s never just about catching fish, it’s about patience, confidence, connection, and discovering the magic that happens on Canoe Lake.

Mountaineer & Sunbeam Temagami trips are off!
🛶
There’s something special about the moment they shoulder a pack, push away from the dock, and set off with the people who make camp feel like home.
Today, our Mountaineers and Sunbeams headed out on canoe trip, filled with excitement, confidence, and the friendships that turn every portage, paddle, campfire, and lakeshore into a memory they’ll carry long after summer ends.
Safe travels, adventurers. Canoe Lake will be waiting to welcome you home. 🛶💙🌲

First food drop. Just like that.
Hugo, Josh and Devon’s 50 Day crew has reached their first food drop, a milestone that always seems to arrive in the blink of an eye.
The smiles are big, spirits are high, and they’re already looking stronger with every paddle stroke and portage. Here’s to many more kilometers, unforgettable memories, and the adventures still waiting around the next bend.
Carry on, boys. Canoe Lake is cheering you on. 💚🛶

There is something quietly extraordinary about Wapomeo. 💚
It’s found in the morning mist on Canoe Lake, the laughter echoing through the pines, the confidence built one paddle stroke at a time, and the lifelong friendships that begin around a cabin table.
Some call it camp. We call it the Wonder of Wapomeo. ✨

Before the canoe trips begin, every great adventure starts with learning the essentials.
Today, campers rolled up their sleeves to plan routes, prepare meals over an open fire, and build the confidence and skills that will carry them through the backcountry. Excitement was just as high as they eagerly anticipated discovering what’s new in the Tuck Shop, before gathering together to sing grace and share another meal as a community.
These are the moments that quietly shape a summer, learning practical skills, embracing new traditions, and finding joy in the simple rhythms of camp life. One day at a time, Canoe Lake is already beginning to feel like home. 🌲🛶🔥

There’s something timeless about a campfire on Canoe Lake.
Last night, our Sunbeams and Mountaineers joined forces for an evening of crackling fires, toasted marshmallows, shared laughter, and new friendships. It’s in these simple moments, under the pines and around the fire, that camp memories are made and lifelong connections begin. 🔥🍫🌲
