Dokan Karate wishing all our students, families, and instructors a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We can't wait to see everyone back on the mats, healthy and ready for new milestones in 2026! The dojo will be closed December 22nd until January 4th. See you all again on January 6th.

A special day unfolded yesterday. Through the invitation of Sensei Alex Aubertin from Uchi martial arts, Sensei Jennifer Turney and Sensei Lucien 's Jongers attended the Sake ceremony in Sudbury, honoring Sensei Jen's Nidan black belt and Sensei Lucien's Sandan black belt promotions.

Adult classes every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00. Beginners are welcome.

Dokan Karate is honored to announce Haley Turney's successful grading for her black belt.

Dokan Karate in Huntsville is currently accepting new students for both mixed-age classes (ages 7+) and adult-only classes, with family discounts available. They offer a free class for prospective students to try out. The club teaches Shorinji-Ryu and Goshin-Jitsu.

We now have adult classes on Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Email [email protected] or text 705-571-5494 for more information. You can try a lesson for free. Just stop by at the dojo 5 to 10 minutes before class and wear something comfy.
We are located at 9-23 Dairy Lane, basement of the building and access is from the parking lot outside stairs.
