Coming back to Fusion…
A friendly reminder of the youth class starting this Thursday evening at the Ingersoll Fusion Youth Centre. Everyone aged 10-18 is welcome, classes will be held in the gym from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday nights. Please register online, hope to see you there!
Update: although the community centre would like to get us back in training, they don’t have any facility available for us. The upper mezzanine of the arena is currently converted to change rooms for the hockey season. However there is some good news.
Youth classes are being offered through the Fusion Center starting on 18 November and will run for six weeks. The classes are:
10-13 year old, Thursdays from 6:30-7:15 pm in the gym
14-18 year old, Thursday from 7:30-8:15 pm in the gym
Please register online https://app.bookking.ca/ingersollcspub/
I hope to see some familiar faces!

Hi to everyone !
We hope that everyone is well and are enjoying the summer with your friends and families.
It’s been almost 18 months since we last trained together, and while we don’t yet have any information about when we can resume, there is light at the end of the tunnel. As vaccinations rates increase and infection rates continue to decrease, we are hopeful for the future.
In anticipation of getting together again (hopefully later this fall), it is time to consider slowly getting ourselves back in shape. Many of us haven’t done a great deal of physical activity for quite some time, and some of us have perhaps added to our girth just a wee bit in the interim.
We encourage you to start walking, start working on some core exercises, and perhaps even try the basic exercises just to refresh your memory.
When we hear any news from the Community Centre about a possible return date, we’ll post it here and send out an email as well. (If you want an email notification, please send an email to [email protected] so we can update our lists and not miss anyone).
Until then, stay healthy, stay safe and enjoy the summer!

Here is a reminder of the 13 jo kata that we practice. Warning, learn from my mistakes and don’t try this in a room with a low ceiling!

Hi everyone. The Community Centre has emailed a survey to all registered (or previously) registered members asking about programs. Please make sure to complete the survey! They ask about kids class, adult Aikido (the Saturday morning class) and Aikido Exercise(the Wednesday night class). Please note that we have no indications of them allowing us to practice just yet, this appears to be an interest survey to see who would still sign up.
As a note for parents of the kids class, we are going to be moving that class to the Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 in order not to compete with all of the weekend activities and sports. Our kids class numbers were too low to continue for Saturday’s. The Wednesday evening adults class would then be starting at 7:30 pm.
