Overall weekend report! With a total of 790kms travelled and 3 different tracks in 3 different nights we are exhausted but super happy that we decided to give it a try! Learning lots about our selves, and our own program, we feel a small sense of pride just completing this journey! With some results we're not happy with, it's sometimes a part of racing!

Wow what a wild night at sunset! From watching a fellow Peterborough driver roll down the back stretch 7 times to finishing inside the top 10! We unloaded the car, and made it out for practice unsure if we had the right setup in it left over from Peterborough. We missed 2nd practice after realizing the starter was dead, we would have to bump start it the rest of the night! Started out in heat 1 and 2 laps in our coil wire came apart and the car just died going down the back stretch. Go it fixed easily for the feature! We started dead last for the feature and it was probably a good thing, we stayed out of some early wrecks and incidents, and with each caution coming out we picked up some spots each time. We had our fastest lap times during our longest caution free run, and on the next restart we found our selves sitting in 10th right behind some of the fastest in the province! We got caught up in an incident on the front stretch with no where to go, on the restart with 3 laps to go we ended up sending the car as hard as we could and we managed to pull home a 8th place finish for our first trip to sunset! We're very happy with those results as between all our practices heats and feature we probably only turned 30 laps yesterday!

Race report while it's still fresh!
Holy moly what a day! Started out with some vaccum leaks which we sourced the problem to a ripped throttle body gasket, replace it and checked the car over and everything looked fine. Get to the track after a 4 hr drive and the car won't stay running, then it wouldn't even start at all! After missing first practice we kept fixing one thing after another thing to go wrong! We eventually get it all sorted out after trashing on the thing for what felt like hours and we make it out for qualifying! We qualify 12 out of 21 cars with the completly wrong gearing for the track! Feature time came and it was a few crazy restarts, even had a spin with the throttle deciding to hang on me at 6000rpm mid corner which sent me sideways! We eventually end up finishing 11th overall which to me is a success to be able to drive it on the trailer at the end of the night after what we want through! Huge thanks to The sponsors who helped make this all happen and my amazing little pit crew!

Well it's going to be a busy week ahead and even busier weekend for us here at k&k motorsports! We will be attending the ministock invitational at deleware speedway this Friday night for 35 laps! Then the following Saturday we head to Peterborough for a 50 laps! Then the following Sunday we will be heading out to sunset speedway for another 25 laps at the rain out date for spring velocity! Wish us luck and fingers crossed! It'll be our first time travelling but we're excited to see what we can get the car to do!

Quick race report, making some adjustments from last week to try and find some more speed we started off well and got a little quicker each race with every adjustment! Starting to find our groove out there and some more speed! Couldn't be out there without the support of and the grip of the tires from as well! Off for a week which is nice cause we hurt something in the motor with a missed shift!

Well after a week of wrenching on the thing it was relieving to see some success with the car over the weekend! With a a heat win, a 2nd and then 2nd overall in the feature we're starting to get a handle on the old lude! Couldn't be doing things this year without our sponsors! &
