HALAL FUN CLUB

HALAL FUN CLUB Going outdoor give us the opportunity to connect with the nature, to appreciate the creation of the Almighty God. We go fishing, swimming, boating in the lakes.

WHO WE ARE:
We some outdoor enthusiasts, from different ethnic and professional backgrounds, are putting efforts to make outdoor sports more available to our communities. Having internet readily available to all age, people including our youth are spending more and more time on screen and therefore reducing connection with the nature. We go camping in the great Canadian nature, where, we forget our daily busy schedule and enjoy hiking, bird watching, and exploring wilderness. We of course go hunting, shooting arrows, balloons. We enjoy doing BBQ together, storytelling while lighting up campfire and when night falls, we witness the magnificent sky full of stars. While stargazing, sometimes we capture the close up view of the entire moon through a telescope. All these activities help us build team spirit. It strengthens our bonding as a family, as friends and help us build leadership skills through co-operation. It refreshes our minds and bodies and helps us engage more in our day to day activities and helps us perform even better. While enjoying outdoor sports, we never forget our prayers. We continue praying together and remain thankful for what we are blessed with. Come join us in our outdoor adventures. Let’s replace the negative elements of our lives with positive energy and spirit. Let’s become better human and prepare to serve our communities and our great country.

The plant you are holding appears to be Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), a perennial herb in the pea family known for its distinct claw-like clusters of bright yellow flowers.

Benefits

High-Quality Forage:
It is highly valued as livestock pasture feed. Unlike many other clovers, it prevents bloat in cattle and sheep.

Soil Enrichment:
As a legume, it fixes nitrogen in the soil. This boosts fertility naturally and improves the surrounding environment.

Erosion Control:
Its dense, creeping root system makes it an excellent choice for stabilizing poor or disrupted soils along roadsides.

Pollinator Magnet:
The fragrant flowers provide a rich source of nectar and pollen for bumblebees and honeybees.

Dangers

Contains Cyanogenic Glycosides:
All parts of the fresh plant produce small amounts of hydrogen cyanide when crushed or chewed. While it is generally safe for livestock in pasture amounts, it is toxic to humans and animals if consumed in large quantities.

Invasive Behavior:
Outside of its native Eurasian range, it spreads aggressively. It can easily crowd out native wildflowers and disrupt local ecosystems.

Mild Skin Irritation:
For some individuals with sensitive skin, handling the crushed stems or sap can cause mild allergic contact dermatitis.

FLOWER 3
The flower shown in the image is White Clover (Trifolium repens). It is a very common, hardy perennial legume found globally in lawns, fields, and paths.

The Benefits

Nutritional Value:
The blossoms, leaves, and seed pods are edible. The dried flowers possess a mild, slightly sweet, vanilla-like profile often utilized to make herbal teas, jellies, or ground into gluten-free baking powder.

Traditional Medicine:
Infusions or tinctures of white clover flowers are historically cited as anti-inflammatory remedies used to soothe fevers, coughs, and minor colds.

Ecological Importance:
In the yard, white clover acts as a natural fertilizer by extracting nitrogen from the air to enrich the soil.

The Scent:
The fragrance is light, floral, and generally pleasant. It acts as a massive attractant for native bees and pollinators, supporting local biodiversity and honey production.

Physical Hazards:
Because the mild, pleasant scent is highly attractive to honeybees, a patch of blooming white clover significantly raises the risk of bee stings if you walk barefoot or step through it.

Cyanogenic Glucosides:
White clover employs a chemical defense mechanism called cyanogenesis. When the fresh plant tissue is crushed, damaged, or heavily grazed, it can release small amounts of toxic hydrogen cyanide. While generally low enough to only threaten heavy-grazing livestock, consuming large quantities of raw, fresh plant material is hazardous.

Fungal and Mold Risks:
During hot, humid weather conditions, the flower heads and leaves can become infected by the Rhizoctonia leguminicola fungus or certain molds. Ingesting infected, moldy clover can lead to serious toxicities.
