We are proud to announce that we are welcoming a few new therapists to our clinic. First, let us introduce our new physiotherapist to the clinic, Mhairi Arnouse.
Mhairi graduated from Queen's University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy, and again in 2007 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. She has taken widespread post-graduate training in manual therapy, orthopaedics, sports physiotherapy, and dry needling (neuroanatomical acupuncture and Gunn IMS).
Mhairi has been working as physiotherapist for over 16 years with extensive experience in orthopaedic and sports conditions; this includes working with athletes of all levels, screening for injury prevention and performance optimization, post surgical rehabilitation, motor vehicle accidents, low back and pelvic girdle dysfunction, and neuropathic pain.
Over her career Mhairi has also worked with highschool basketball, highschool football (including Team BC U18), Team Canada Women's Field Hockey, Coquitlam Express Junior Hockey, and Coquitlam United men's rugby.
Mhairi enjoys providing comprehensive treatment that meets each individual’s specific needs to optimize their function and therapeutic goals. This includes patient education, specific exercise prescription, manual therapy, acupuncture, taping, and importantly empowering clients to manage their condition and rehabilitation process outside of the clinic.
Outside of work, Mhairi enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature and camping, playing the piano, discovering sound healing, weight lifting, playing basketball, and mountain biking.

ART Certified Providers thoroughly assesses the problem areas in order to pinpoint the damaged and inflamed tissue to diagnose the root cause of the injury.
ART treatment works by releasing muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia that no longer function properly due to overuse or injury.
Once the assessment has been completed and the practitioner has determined the root of the issue the treatment proceeds to specific patient movements and practitioner touch to release adhesions and relieve pain.

Chiropractors enhance the functionality of all bodily systems with noticeable results such as - the break up of scar tissue, releasing muscle tension and restoring body balance for pain free activity.
Sports Chiro’s start with a thorough assessment to figure out the “why”. Why does the issue exist? And from there they perform a systematic and evidence based approach to treatment that includes adjustments not just to the spine but to various other joints in the body, soft tissue work and specific corrective exercises targeted to regain balance and strength to get you fully functional.
