And speaking of little things our brand NEW Trick or Trail race bibs just arrived and OMG...SOOOOO CUTE! 😍

We made them a little smaller than your typical race bib because, let's face it, we don't want anything stealing the spotlight from your faBOOlous costumes!

And speaking of costumes... don't forget there is a costume contest at the end of the race. We can't wait to see what you crazy, creative trail runners come up with!

Whether you're running for a podium spot, the best costume, the candy, or just the chance to scream your way through the woods with your friends, this is going to be one heck of a Halloween trail party!

Join us at the 4th Annual Nicholas’ Run for Youth Mental Health.

This event is to rememberNicholas while raising awareness and funds for youth mental health and su***de prevention in our community.

It will be held on Saturday, November 7 - starting at 9am at Pioneer Park. Two distances to choose from, 2.5km or a 5km and you are welcome to run or walk.

And something that is near and dear to us is that DOGS are welcome!

All proceeds will be donated to the Nicholas Zhou Legacy Fund at the BC Interior Community Foundation, supporting families helping troubled youth and funding youth mental health awareness and su***de-prevention initiatives.

We hope to see you there!

It’s been a month since Walk in the Park… but this hasn't disappeared just because the finish line came down.

Walk in the Park is built on tradition.

For 33 years, runners have lined up in Kamloops to take on these trails. The heat. The dust. The climbs. The tired legs. The aid stations. The finish-line stories.

Year after year, those traditions have been passed from one runner to the next and in 2027, we do it all again.

Mark your calendars for the 34th annual Walk in the Park Ultra!

📅 Sunday, September 5, 2027
📍 Kenna Cartwright Park, Kamloops, BC
🏃‍♀️ 50km | 25km | 14km | 9km

Some runners will cross that finish line for the first time.

Some will earn their coveted 5x Veterans bib (a number that becomes theirs every time they return to tackle the 50km).

And a very small few will grind their way to 10 finishes and the Walk in the Park Ultra belt buckle.

These traditions matter.

They honour the runners who keep coming back. The volunteers who show up year after year. The people who have carried this event through more than three decades. And every new runner who steps onto these trails and becomes part of its story.

34 years doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens because people keep showing up.

Our dear friend Maximilian Rüther made a short film about Walk in the Park and the emotional ups and downs and everything in between! Relive the race and get inspired to join us in 2027! The last quarter of the 2026 season:

The 33rd annual Walk in the Park Ultra was such a fantastic success! The biggest turnout and the BEST weather we have had so far as RD's. We are still feeling the energy of that day as we move onto our next event!

In just over 3 weeks our NEW race is happening on October 24 - Trick or Trail Night Run 15 & 5km distances packed with spooky trail fun and lots of candy - Registration is OPEN!

We’ll finish the season with TIS the Season (This Is Stupid Run) a free run challenge that is a tribute run to our sweet trail pup Lola 💛A fun, joyful celebration of her love for the trails… and a special request:
👉 BRING YOUR DOGS! They make everything better 🐕

And JICYMI... The Kamloops Trail Festival will be returning in the Summer of 2027! Runners Sole and Sole Pursuit Running are teaming up as the new hosts! Save the Date: July 24, 2027.

We also have a new fun challenge coming up in January so keep your eyes open for that!
