ICE BREAKER SHIAI IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!

What a fantastic way to start our tournament! A huge THANK YOU to the Raiden Kids Taiko for kicking off our Ice Breaker Shiai with an awesome performance!

Today’s performance featured two very special taiko drums—one is our very own Kamloops Judo Club taiko, and the other is the George Uyeda family taiko. Both drums were handmade by Sensei Henry Uyeda.

We’re all set for a great day of judo, friendship, sportsmanship and fun!

Good luck to all of our competitors! Give it your best and have fun out there!

Let the Ice Breaker Shiai begin!
