Mark is a breast cancer survivor and a participant at 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival, France. Mark has a message for everyone: breast cancer is not JUST a female cancer! If you feel a lump, get it checked, male or female!!

The 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival, France begins today - 7 days of celebration with 4500 paddlers representing 25 nations and our very own Dawn, Chris, Ann and Susanna are there representing Canada, BC, Kamloops and the Spirit Warriors! 💖🇨🇦🎀

SPIRIT WARRIORS - INVITE TO MONDAY PADDLES:

With our paddling season ending early this year, you have the opportunity to get out for two more paddles this summer! 😊🚣‍♂️
We have been invited by the Monday morning recreational team to join them for the next two weeks. They meet at Pioneer at 9:30 for warmup, go out on the river at 10 and paddle for an hour. They will be doing this for another 2 weeks and invite any Spirit Warriors to join them if we’d like. They use the paddles and life jackets that are in the Sea Can, so that issue is taken care of.

They are also having a coffee and cookie get together after paddling next Monday which we are also welcome to join.
