Mountain hunting is hard on boots. If your ankles are rolling on every side hill or the sole is slipping on rock, it's probably the boot.

Crispi's stiffer boots like the Briksdal and Idaho are made for this kind of country. On the site now.

The sit is where you get cold, not the hike. Throw a puffy in the pack and you'll stay out an extra hour easy.

Grumman down, Cirque LITE and the Altimeter mitts are all on the site.

Mornings are getting a lot colder. If you're planning to hunt into November, now's the time to sort out a warm layer for when you stop moving.

We've got Stone Glacier's Grumman down and the Cirque synthetic on the site. Down packs smaller, Cirque handles wet better. No tariff fee on either.

Crispi's an Italian company and you can tell the second you pick one up next to a cheaper boot.

They're not cheap, but people who buy them tend to wear the same pair for years. Full lineup on the site.

Sweat on the way up, freeze once you sit down. Pretty much every early morning hunt. A good base layer fixes most of it.

Chinook merino, Avro synthetic and the Helio hoody as a mid.
