🏒 Silver Medal Finish for the Kanata Rangers U15B at the Markham Stouffville Starfest Tournament! 🥈
The Kanata Rangers U15B kicked off their season this past weekend at the Markham Stouffville Starfest Tournament, earning a silver medal after an outstanding tournament performance.
The Rangers finished first with a perfect 5-0 record, allowing just one goal against throughout the round robin. In the semi-final, the team defeated the host squad 2-0 to secure their spot in the championship game.
The final was a hard-fought battle that showcased determination, resilience, and skill from both teams. After three strong periods of hockey, overtime and a shootout were needed to decide the winner. We congratulate the Gananoque Royals on their championship victory.
The players should be incredibly proud of their journey to the final. Throughout the tournament, they demonstrated exceptional effort, determination, grit, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Most importantly, the team came together, worked hard, built lasting memories, and laid a strong foundation for the season ahead. This tournament was an excellent start to what promises to be an exciting year for the Rangers. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on a fantastic weekend of hockey! 💙❤️🏒
