Meet Peter 👋
Peter has been riding bikes since he was seven years old, learning on an old balloon-tire bike at the family cottage. His love for cycling continued into his early twenties, when weekends often meant loading up his bike for camping adventures through Banff, British Columbia, and Alberta.
These days you’ll usually find Peter on his Giant Trance X, with plenty of gravel rides mixed in while he eagerly waits for his new Giant Revolt Advanced SL to arrive.
His favourite places to ride are the quiet gravel roads around Wakefield, the Ottawa Valley, and the Beachburg area—anywhere with more scenery and fewer cars.
One piece of gear he never rides without? A mini electric pump. It’s perfect for topping up tire pressure before a ride or getting back on the trail after the occasional flat.
Fun fact: Peter introduced Giant Bicycles to the Ontario market back in 1992, making him a part of Giant’s Canadian story from the very beginning.
