If you are a member, trainee or friend, try joining our Facebook Group page for candids and last-minute updates! We have our own fleet of multi-handed and single-handed dinghies and catamarans, so members have no need to own their own boats. We offer training courses for juniors, youth and adults, as well as group clinics for members.

KSC Closing Day was Oct. 18, when we brought up and de-rigged the last of the big boats (photo below) and dis-assembled the dock.

Massive thanks owed to all who turned out to help both this weekend and the previous weekend’s Pre-Closing Day.

Notification to KSC members about the Annual Meeting (Nov. 26, 7 p.m.) will be going out very soon. It’s an event not to be missed, when you learn what’s been going on behind the scenes!

Thanks Sail Canada Voile Canada for getting the word out! We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year!

And we have a refreshed fleet, new dock and rescue craft, a most picturesque site on the mighty Ottawa River, and …. just as when KSC first launched in 1975, you don’t need to own your own boat with our membership and volunteerism model.

Small boat and catamaran sailing is what it’s all about. We hope that came across in the interview:

CTV’s Derick Fage and host Rosey Edeh helped us get the “Come Sail with Us at KSC” message out on Tuesday August 26.

Thanks for having us in studio, CTV Morning Live. We look forward to a site visit! Maybe get somebody out on the trapeze. We hear Will Aiello may be game?
