Somebody check the record books because the Kawartha Fury U15 Girls just won the FIRST-EVER medal in Fury girls program history! 🤯🔥

And they didn’t make it easy on anyone…

Down late? No problem.
Pressure on? Bring it.
With the clock winding down, these girls battled until the very last second, tying the game in the final minutes to force an absolutely heart-pounding overtime. 💪🚨

The game came down to a penalty shot after a too-many-players call in overtime. Not the ending we were hoping for, but that’s sports—and sometimes the game is decided by the smallest of moments.

Did we want gold? Absolutely.
Did these girls make history anyway? YOU BET THEY DID. 🥈🔥

In just the second season of our girls program, they’ve already put Kawartha Fury on the map, proving that hard work, grit, and believing in each other can build something special.

The first medal.

🥈 SILVER NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD! 🥈

Our U13-1 team battled all the way to the Championship Game this weekend! While it didn’t end with the colour of medal they were chasing, they still walked away as 2026 U11 C Silver Medalists… and that is something to be incredibly proud of.

This team left everything they had on the floor. They showed heart, hustle, resilience, and the kind of teamwork that can’t be measured by the final score. They earned every single minute of that championship run.

Sure, gold would’ve looked pretty nice… but so does bringing home hardware after battling through an incredible tournament. 💪

To our players: Hold those heads high. One game doesn’t define your season—you do. And what a season it was. Your coaches, families, teammates, and the entire Fury community couldn’t be prouder of everything you accomplished.

Now go celebrate, eat some victory ice cream (because silver absolutely deserves ice cream too 🍦😉), and remember… not every team gets the chance to play for a championship. You did. And that’s something no one can take away.

This banner represents the passion, perseverance, teamwork, and relentless fire our athletes, coaches, and families brought all spring long. Their championship run has earned a permanent place in our home arena!
