Tested the shoulder today. Wasn’t great but managed to get around not too badly.

Going to try and play every 7 days. Definitely need a-lot more rest.

Swings on 🔥🔥🔥

Most that look at my swing think that I have made huge changes over the years but the reality is I haven’t. I’ve made one specific change with my intent and the rest has just naturally fallen into place without any conscious effort.

If you look at my swing from the past and compare it to now, it looks completely different but again, all that has changed is my intent.

I haven’t swung the club in this manner since 2022 due to back injury but am slowly building it back up and honestly, I’m playing some very good golf again. Let’s keep it rolling and see where it goes!

Didn’t get a whole lot of playing time in this past week but finished off the long weekend with a solid 9

The past three years have been a grind dealing with disc damage in my lower back. It’s affected one of the most important pieces of my golf swing—my ability to rotate properly through my hips and shoulders. Because of that limitation, I’ve spent a long stretch essentially playing with square hips and shoulders at impact, trying to protect my back instead of moving naturally through the ball. The result has been major inconsistency, and at its worst, it led to a frustrating stretch about 2.5 years ago where I was battling shanks—something that completely threw off my confidence and rhythm.

Now I’m in the process of reintroducing proper body rotation into my swing. It’s not easy. There’s discomfort, and at times real pain in my lower back, but I know this is the direction I need to go if I want to get back to a consistent, repeatable motion. I’m working through that balance—pushing my movement patterns forward while managing what my body can tolerate day to day.

I’m optimistic. The goal is to limit the pain as much as possible, keep building a more functional swing, and give myself a chance to play some solid tournament golf this year. At the same time, I’m hopeful I’ll be able to see a surgeon in the near future to get a clearer long-term solution for my back and what the next phase of recovery looks like.

Some nice solid swings on the range today.

Nice start to the year. Finalizing my grip change and going with high draws this year. Going with what feels natural@and what works best for me👌🔥

Already noticed my carry differences with the draw. Shots are flying a little further which is cool.

Done lots of re-tooling this year and it all starts with this new bag!
