Trick Switch has a new location!!!

Trick Switch will officially launch in the Okanagan for 2024. Based in Kelowna BC, we will be operating throughout the Okanagan and will be offering private lessons behind our client's own boat. This means we can better customize programs, boat setups, boat loadouts and equipment for our client's needs.

Sadly, Summer here in Canada has come to a close. One last set this morning brought an end to a crazy Summer. We’ve battled setbacks with Covid and the wildfire situation here in BC but that didn’t stop us from making the most of the amazing water here in the Okanagan.

2021 was our first year running private lessons for diehard waterskiers, wakeboarders and wakesurfers. We would like to thank all our students for their support and dedication to their sport. Thanks to our amazing sponsors, and Canada for your support for 2021!

After 34 years of skiing and wakeboarding, the injuries have take their toll. It’s sad to not be able to get out and do what I used to but the one thing that brings back that enjoyment even more, is to coach and watch my students progress. Being a good coach takes years and years. Being able to notice the small adjustments needed. Conveying coaching techniques that are relative and easy to understand. Understanding board and water physics. Setting up a development plan with students. Knowing that every student is different and nobody is taught the same way. Coaching is an art form that requires passion and a lot of knowledge. Injuries may have kept me off the water but it hasn’t stopped me from keeping others on the water.
