⚔️ Two Hands. One Sword. A Whole Lot to Learn.

German Longsword is anything but standing still and swinging a big sword around. You’ll learn how to move with the sword, control the fight at different distances, and turn your opponent’s pressure into an opportunity.

And then you get to put those skills to the test.

💰 $25 per class

In 1570, German fencing master Joachim Meyer published his Art of Combat, documenting techniques for the longsword, rapier and other weapons.

More than four centuries later, we're still studying his work!

At Ascalon Academy, Meyer's teachings form the foundation of our German Longsword and Rapier instruction, bringing historical techniques off the page and onto the training floor.

History isn't just something you read. It's something you can experience.
