We are truly grateful to be this year's Silver Winner for Best Martial Arts Studio in Kelowna 2026 and to have won Silver the last 4 years in a row.
For 33 years, we have had the privilege of serving our community and walking alongside thousands of people and families through different chapters of their lives.
We have welcomed new faces to our city and supported generations as they grew up and continued to put their trust in us.
Your support over these three decades is the reason we’re still here, doing what we love. Thank you for believing in us, for allowing us to be part of your lives, and for honoring our 33-year journey.

We are thrilled to recognize Garrett Appelbohm for earning his Wing Chun Level 6 Black Sash.
A special thank you to Scott Walkinshaw for helping to bring out the best in Garrett during his grading.
Garrett began his Kung Fu and Martial Arts journey at Great Way in 2012 and has achieved many milestones, including Junior and Youth Black Belt.
Garrett is well-liked by everyone and is a great training partner. We are very proud of Garrett, his dedication and spirit enrich our community and inspire others to strive for excellence.

We had a Great visit and training session 👊🏻 with The Big White Community School (sd51) last week! They stayed and celebrated a student's Birthday 🎉 and cut the cake with a real Samurai sword! ⚔ Special thank you to Chris Hayes! 🙏

🎉We are thrilled to recognize and congratulate Bob Annand for earning his Wing Chun Kung Fu Level 8 Black Sash at Great Way Martial Arts!. 🎉His test included The Wing Chun Bil Jee Form, Wooden Dummy Form, Advanced Chi Sao (sticking hands), Intense Combat attacks, and Self-defense scenarios including club, knife, and chair defenses. 💪
A special thank you to Bob’s grading partner, Sifu Jesse Ulman, and his fellow students for all the help and support you gave to Bob!
Bob has been a student at Great Way for over 10 years. He is an exceptional individual and gifted martial artist, always training hard and doing his best.
Bob is very well-liked and is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. We are grateful to have Bob as part of the Great Way Martial Arts community. ❤️
