Less than one week to go until the Kelowna Cup!

The Roosters will look to defend our Title against teams from across BC and Alberta on Saturday at Rutland Recreation Park.

It’s always a great day of footy so come down and cheer on the team.

We are also still recruiting players so if you’re interested in playing on the day, don’t hesitate to reach out!

There are men’s and women’s divisions and will also be running a free junior clinic at 1pm!

We’re excited to have them supporting the Roosters and look forward to many great events there, including post Kelowna Cup and Parallel Cup celebrations!

SCHEDULE RELEASE!

The biggest year in Okanagan football history will start on May 2 with the first of several Roosters intraclub games! Game times and locations to be announced at a later date.

On May 23, we’ll be heading to Banff to take on teams from Calgary, Edmonton and Banff in their annual 12-a-side tournament!

June 6 marks the return of the annual Kelowna Cup, where we’ll be looking to defend our 2025 Title against teams from across BC and Alberta.

The 49th Parallel Cup will see the Canadian and US National Teams battle it out, with the Roosters also playing a game on the day!

A New Era for Australian Rules Football in the Okanagan!

We are thrilled to announce that the Vernon Roosters will now be known as the Okanagan Roosters!

This isn’t just a name change; it’s a commitment to our growing community of players and fans across the entire valley. From the northern communities of Armstrong and Vernon, through Lake Country and Kelowna, , to the resort towns of Big White and Silverstar and all the way down to Penticton and Osoyoos, we are proud to be the Okanagan’s Australian Rules Football club!
