Kelowna Major Mens' Fastball

KMMFA - Kelowna Major Men’s Fastpitch / King Stadium AGM is 7:00pm Monday November 29th at the Kanata Hotel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Masson this past Thursday December 5th.

Ron was a cherished member of KMMFA with over 20 years of service for umpiring in the fastball community. His last 5 years he spent in the scorekeeping / announcing booth at Kings Stadium.

Ron put in a insurmountable amount of volunteer hours over the years, always stepping forward in KMMFA times of need. He simply loved fastball and always wanted to be a part of the ball field.

He was a huge part of KMMFA and everybody has a story to tell about Ronnie Masson in the scorebooth.

He will be truly missed.

We have no details at this time on the funeral, we have heard there is to be a celebration of life at the Winfield Curling Club at a later date. We will keep you informed.

Kelowna Major Men's Fastball Association is host the annual AGM Tuesday, December 10, 6:30pm at the Kanata Hotel in Kelowna.

KMFS is pleased to present an exhibition College Softball double header Saturday, October 14 at Kings Stadium. Game times will be 10:00 and 1:00.

This is free to the public!

SAIT Trojans from Calgary featuring Nina Hendricks, pitcher with the Dutch Jr. National Team, Hayley St. Germaine, WCSA 1st team All-Star, Tori Stavenjord and Alissa Bender 2nd team all star selections.

The Okanagan All Stars will be made up of past and present Kelowna Heat members as well as players currently attending UBCO.
