I'm still at the beginning of my bata de cola journey, but I'm completely in love with it.

It gives you such an incredible feeling of strength, control, and presence. Every movement demands intention—you have to think a beat or more ahead of the music, planning not just your steps, but where the train will be. It's teaching me to listen more deeply, to understand the music in a whole new way, and to dance with greater awareness.

To me, the bata de cola is the perfect expression of feminine strength: powerful, elegant, commanding, and unapologetically dramatic.

And let's be honest... who doesn't love a huge, sweeping train? ❤️

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
Today, I'm feeling incredibly grateful and fortunate to call Canada home. It's a day to celebrate the many cultures, traditions, and stories that come together to create the rich fabric of our country.
By honouring where we came from, we can better appreciate where we are today—and look forward with hope to where we're going together.
