Let’s talk *CARDIO* for beginners. ❤️🔥
So many women think weight loss = endless cardio sessions.
But in truth, cardio is just **one little piece** of the puzzle.
Cardio helps boost your calorie burn, keeps your bones, heart and lungs strong, and improves recovery — but it’s most effective when paired with **strength training and balanced nutrition**.
The key isn’t hours on a treadmill. It’s finding what you’ll actually stick with: walking, biking, swimming, dancing — anything that gets your heart rate up and your body moving regularly. Aim for consistency, not exhaustion - but don't waste your time or fool yourself.... MAKE IT COUNT.
I prefer shorter, sweaty workouts like HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). It packs a punch in just 20-30 minutes and naturally intensifies as you become more fit. You don't have to increase the time as your body adapts; only increase the intensity.
When I started my weight-loss journey, a 20-minute walk around the neighbourhood, with some "speedy" or hilly sections, was enough. Now that I am fit, I still do just 20 or 30 minutes, but I will sprint occasionally or increase the treadmill incline. It's never boring - especially not with some good music blasting in my ears.
Consistency with short bursts will always beat perfection with long, tedious workouts.
Ready to try? Ask me how :)

The "Post-Holiday Slump" is real, and it currently looks like this. 👆
I feel so "gross" when I step away from my routine—low energy, bloated and foggy.
I used to think that I was immune to being so affected by what I ate and did - almost like a superpower. However, it turns out that I was just so used to feeling "gross" that I didn't know any different.
The old version of me would have waited for the "perfect" moment or day to get back on track. Probably January 5th or 12th, if I am honest here. I would be thinking that January 2026 PLUS a Monday seem "lucky".
The new version of me knows that the perfect moment is usually RIGHT NOW.
I struggled to get moving today, but I’m glad I did. There is so much power in enjoying a detour without getting lost in the chaos. To be able to move onward and forward without feeling guilty.
Today is about hydration, time with my family, and closing out the year strong.
I'm heading into 2026 with momentum, not excuses or hope of "luck".

Merry Christmas to all!
It takes courage, but you’ve got this!!
Success isn’t luck. It’s dedication, consistency, hard work, and discipline. It’s showing up on the days you feel tired. Choosing progress over perfection. And trusting that small steps, done consistently, always add up.💗💪

Even if things aren’t going how you hoped, there are still parts of you worth being proud of.
Trying. Learning. Showing up again.
That still counts.
💗Be kind to yourself!💗
