Dear Members & Guests,

Please be advised that effective immediately, all power carts must remain on designated cart paths at all times for the remainder of the 2026 golf season.

Due to current course conditions and to help protect the integrity of our fairways and surrounding turf, this restriction will remain in effect until the course closes for the season.

Please note:

- All power carts must remain on cart paths at all times.
- Medical flags will not be permitted.
- There will be no exceptions to this policy.

We understand this may be an inconvenience for some golfers; however, these measures are necessary to protect the course and minimize damage as we head into the final days of the season.

We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and commitment to keeping our course in the best possible condition.

Thank you,

Kenora Golf & Country Club

🍂 THANK YOU, MEMBERS!

Thank you to all our members who joined us on Sunday for a beautiful day on the golf course and in the clubhouse for our Member Appreciation Tournament!

A perfect fall day brought a great crowd out to enjoy the course, some friendly competition, and Doug’s Superintendent’s Revenge on the back nine — where apparently a reasonable pin placement was never even considered.

We hope everyone had a fantastic day! Thank you for being part of KGCC and for making our club such a great place to spend the season.

We appreciate you, Members!

🌧️ THE RAIN WINS TODAY! ☔

With the rainy weather keeping the golfers — and apparently everyone else — away, our Bar & Restaurant will be closing at 5:00 PM today.

But don’t forget… TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 29, is our FINAL DAY for Bar & Kitchen service this season! 🍽️

Come see us for one last meal before we close up the kitchen for the year!

🍴 We’re open at 10:00 am! Join us for a late breakfast or lunch.

Thinking about joining us for dinner? Give us a call and make a reservation — if we know you’re coming, we’ll stay open for your group! 📞

Help us finish the season with a busy kitchen, full tables and a few familiar faces. 💚

Thank you for dining with us all season long!

🔎 LOST & FOUND: PLEASE COME GET YOUR STUFF!

Our Lost & Found is getting a little out of hand. Sunglasses, clothing, golf gear… at this point, we’re about three items away from opening a thrift store.

Important clarification:
Thus is a Lost & Found, not Lost & Free.
Not a garage sale.
Not a prize table.
And definitely not a “finders keepers” situation. 👀

If you didn’t lose it, please don’t suddenly decide you’ve always owned it.

Recognize something that actually belongs to you? Call the Pro Shop at 807-468-7995 and we’ll happily set it aside for pickup.

Please come collect your belongings before we have to start charging them membership dues.

Course Aeration Notice | September 21 & 22

Course aeration is scheduled for Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22.

One nine will be closed each day while our grounds crew completes aeration. Golfers wishing to play 18 holes will play the open nine twice.

Tee times cannot be booked online for these dates. Please call the Pro Shop at (807) 468-7995 to book.

Why Do Golf Courses Aerate?

Aeration helps keep our greens healthy by reducing soil compaction, improving drainage, and allowing air, water and nutrients to reach the roots. While it may cause a short-term disruption, it plays an important role in maintaining healthier playing conditions throughout the season.

Weather Contingency:
Aeration is weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather or unsuitable course conditions, aeration will be rescheduled to the following week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while our grounds crew completes this necessary maintenance to help keep the course in great condition
