Deadline to sign up for tryouts for U11AA, U13AAA, U15AAA and U18AA is Friday, August 28th at 8pm!

Conditioning and tryout sessions have now been posted. All schedules are subject to change at any time.

Please adhere to the deadlines for signups for each team.

Please sign up for 1 team per age division. There is ample time for sign ups after U11 AA, U13 AAA, and U15 AAA teams are formed to sign up for U11 A, U13 AA, and U15 AA.

Any players that make it to the jamboree in U13 AAA or U15 AAA that get released following that event will automatically have a spot at U13 AA and U15 AA tryouts respectively. The sign up deadline does not apply to these players.

Any players released from the Western Wolves Major U18 tryouts from the Mid Isle zone will have a spot saved for them to try out for the U18 AA team. The sign up deadline does not apply to these players.

Registration is now open for the 2026-2027

U9-U18 fees include $100.00 team fee for co-ed. ** Please see additional notes below regarding female players/teams and registration costs.

All players MUST be registered and 1st payment($400.00/male and $300.00/female paid prior to attending tryouts for AA and AAA.

Deadline to register is September 15th. A late fee of $75.00 will be charged after this date and will only be accepted if space allows.

First payment ($400.00 for U9-U18 & $250.00 for U7) is due at registration; 2nd payment ($275.00 for U9-U18 and $175.00 for U7) and final payment is due November 29th.

Players will not be eligible to step on the ice without first payment made and if registration is not fully paid on November 29th, players will not be able to attend games or practices until payment is made.

Payments can be sent via EMT to [email protected]. Please make password hockey and put your player’s name in the memo/notes section.

There will be additional fees for AA and AAA, payments will be collected by the teams.

Female Hockey
Any females (U9-U18) who are interested in playing female hockey; please ensure you select the appropriate age division and female when registering.
Kensington typically does not ice girls teams; however all girls will be found a place to play on a female team.
If playing female hockey; registration fee to KAMHA is $575.00 - any additional costs to the association where your player is transferred; will be collected by the association or team. 1st payment of $300.00 is due at registration and final payment of $275.00 is due November 29th.
Females are welcome to play on co-ed Kensington A(house league) teams.

Transfers
If your player is transferring to Kensington and Area Minor Hockey from a previous association; please provide the association name. Form A must be filled out and sent to [email protected].

Family Discount
If you are registering 3 or more players; please email [email protected] for payment amounts. If using funding, the discount does not apply.

Try Hockey
A “Try Hockey” session will be held at a later date for anyone who has never been registered in minor hockey. All new U7 players will be required to attend and full gear is required. Information will be posted on facebook when a date is secured.

Schedules
Schedules and ice times will be determined at a later date; hockey will start around the middle of October for house league teams.

Funding
If you are applying for funding, please email KAMHA. Acceptance letters must also be emailed to [email protected]. Registration can be completed before the acceptance letter is received, although acceptance letters must be received before players 1st ice time.

Equipment
Dates will be announced at a later date for anyone who has gently used equipment to drop off or for players to look for any necessary equipment needed for the upcoming season. Dates and times will be posted on our page.

Registration
1. Click on the link. https://page.spordle.com/kensington
2. Select the division you are registering a player for. e.g U11-U18 or U7-U9. (ensure you select female for U9-U18 if playing female hockey)
3. Click the "Register now" at the top left of the screen.
4. Enter your email address and click "Login". First time users will receive the message "This account does not exist". Click the "Sign up" link.
5. Complete fields and create a password. You will receive an email with a verification code. Enter the code. You will then be asked to sign into your account using the password you set up.
6. After your account is set up, you can search for and link your hockey players to your account.
7. After player(s) are linked to your account, you can register the player(s) in the appropriate division.
8. Please ensure you update address and contact information as this information is what will be used for communication throughout the season.
9. You will receive an email invoice for the amount owing.
10. Payment by EMT is preferred. [email protected].
