Summer Employment Opportunity
Valley District Soccer Association will be hiring an administrative student for the summer of 2026.
While there will be variations, in general the position will begin in mid-May and end in mid-August, consist of 30-35 hours per week and will include some weekend and afternoon hours.
Wage paid will be $17- $18/h depending on experience and qualifications.
Job location headquarters will be the indoor facility in Kentville.
The position will involve a variety of tasks including but not limited to creating and working with schedules/spreadsheets/databases, working and communicating with players, coaches and parents, and being the liaison and main point of contact between the district and its member clubs.
Desired qualifications and strengths include the use of a laptop, the ability to work with spreadsheets and databases and the ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
Applications are to be sent to [email protected] and will be accepted until 5pm on Apr. 27. Only those applicants who are short-listed for interviews will be contacted.

Reminder that Saturday (28th) is the final open date for the VDSA Spring League registration. Divisions and teams will be formed based on registrations as of that date. Registrations will be accepted past that date but only for divisions that are not filled.

Congratulations to Wolfville Tattoo and Piercing who repeated as VDSA Masters champions defeating Paddy's Pub in the championship game.

The VDSA family sends out sincere condolences to the family and friends of Harold Alexander on his recent and sudden passing. He was a member of the VDSA board as Digby president for a number of years as well as a huge supporter of many sport and other community activities in the Digby area. He will be missed.
