Building the connection between heart and horse. Hello everyone. My name is Tisa and I have a strong passion for all things horses.

I have been working with them in various different capacities for the last 26 years. I have extensive experience working with children and I have been teaching lessons off and on since I was a teenager. My focus is primarily on English, western and trail. I think it is important to learn horsemanship from the ground up, so you’ll be learning about grooming and horse care as well as riding. I work

Koda is one of our main lesson horses that we use. He's the type of horse that makes a rider work because he won't just plod along. He's got a brain, and you actually have to ride him. Today he picked up a new skill, it's the first time we've ever asked him to pull a sled. Needless to say, he's amazing.

A new Christmas eve tradition in the making! This evening we turned off the floodlights and rode ba****ck by Christmas light. It was the first time we've had a chance to do it as a family, and it sure won't be the last! The bums you see from left to right are; Koda, Jasper, London and Puzzle.

Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

Everyone got a good brushing tonight to get rid of some mud! Puzzle enjoyed getting some bug bites scratched. And no...London is not pregnant...she's just pleasantly plump! 🫣

It was a beautiful afternoon for a trail ride! This was our first time checking out this lovely trail right off the property! We will definitely be going back for more :)

He may not be a big horse guy, but he sure does love the tractor that came along with them! 😂

Well, it was a wonderful spring season with my riders. It was hard to say good bye to everyone this summer and quite honestly, I didnt even know how to say goodbye to everyone. I miss you all so much!

I know I've been a little quiet, but we are working hard to settle into the new place in Nova Scotia! Paddocks are being built, shelters are going up and pulled into place...and my girls have been putting the horses through their paces to keep them lesson ready!

I am planning to start lessons up again for the fall...and there will be some new equine faces joining us shortly...so stay tuned!
