In 1996, Elissa “Gizmo” Steamer pushed her way into skateboarding’s spotlight, transcending gender norms and commanding respect. With the first ever all-women’s skate video titled GIZMO, it paid homage to the trailblazer who promoted a more inclusive skate culture, drawing people from all backgrounds and all walks of life to pick up a skateboard. This week’s drop-in session will be at a different time, 5pm -7pm. The immensely supportive, and phenomenally talented Jay Bridges will be coming to shoot GIZMO GIRLS (only) from 6:15pm - 7:00pm. If you do not want your child photographed, they must skate in the earlier time slot. Like all of our sessions, parents/guardians/adult caregivers must be at the park with their child for the entire time their child skates. We are very excited for another awesome week!
